A former senior state trooper turned himself in to the Limestone County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday and has now been charged with solicitation of prostitution and computer tampering.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Paul Richey resigned from his position the day before being charged.
Richey is being held at the Limestone County Correctional Facility. ALEA said his arrest is part of an ongoing investigation.
