A man has smashed the world record for solo Elvis karaoke - belting out The King's hits virtually non-stop for over 43 hours.

Sam Stevens, 36, conquered the karaoke challenge in tribute to his father-in-law Phil Brock, a devoted Elvis performer.

He also collected over £7,000 for the ChemoHero charity.

Phil Brock, known as Brockabilly, died from cancer aged 55 just before lockdown in March 2020 and his family were unable to hold a proper celebration of his life.

So Sam felt compelled to perform only Elvis tracks for 43 hours 20 minutes from 9pm on Thursday (4 September) until 2:15pm on Saturday (6 September) at The Pollyfield centre, in Bideford.
