This is the smirking mugshot of a thug who went on a £4,000 train robbery rampage.

Teddy Kelt pleaded guilty at Inner London Crown Court yesterday (September 9) to three counts of robbery and three counts of attempted robbery, the British Transport Police confirmed.

He was also convicted of two public order offences, two counts of possessing a knife or bladed article in public, and common assault.

Kelt followed the victim, a 22-year-old man, onto the platform of Mile End Underground station and told him he had a knife, London Crown Court heard.

After threatening to slap him if he didn't give Kelt his phone, he patted the man down, went through his pockets, and slapped him in the face.

Kelt then proceeded to push the man to the floor and exit the station.
