SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash in Springfield.

Springfield Fire Capt. Drew Piemonte said that the crash occurred in the area of Spring and Frost Streets.

Springfield Police spokesperson Ryan Walsh noted that it was an “officer involved“ incident, but he was not able to provide any further details.

Western Mass News has a crew headed to the scene and will have more information as it becomes available.
