CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A beloved food competition makes its return, and it’s sweeter than ever.

Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley hosted its Sweet Charity at Capitol Market in Charleston.

The event highlights the best the area has to offer when it comes to all things sugary.

Local bakers and confectioners brought out their best to compete for prizes in taste, creativity, and presentation.

All proceeds from the event go to support Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley.
