BAD news has emerged from the New York Giants as they confirm the extent of one of their biggest star's injury.
The Giants lost their linebacker during the first quarter of their 2025 season-opening 21-6 loss to the Washington Commanders last Sunday.
Linebacker Micah McFadden, 25, was carted off during their defeat with a leg injury.
The injury occured as he attempted to tackle Commanders' running back Austin Ekeler , 30.
He was spotted on the sidelines with his foot in a boot following the injury.
It has now been confirmed that he will miss a substantial amount of time.
This comes as it was confirmed that McFadden would have foot surgery.
Second-year Darius Muasau, 24, is set to take his place as a starter.
