See it: Coyote captured wandering near NYC apartment complex

CASTLE HILL, The Bronx (PIX11) -- Some residents in the Bronx got a brief surprise when they saw a dog-like creature wandering around the neighborhood late Tuesday night.

CitizenApp video shows what appears to be a coyote running near an apartment complex along 685 Olmstead Ave. around 10 p.m.

A CitizenApp user caught the brief moment at a distance, showing the coyote running from the building's lawn into the street.

It was not immediately made clear how the coyote got there and there were no reported injuries as a result.
