FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – K9 "Shei" found 2.2 pounds of suspected cocaine after a traffic stop on a Toyota Camry in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP says officers made a traffic stop on the Camry on Tuesday when K9 "Shei" alerted to the presence of narcotics.

After a search, officers say they found approximately 2.2 pounds of suspected cocaine concealed inside a bag.

Agents with the Fresno High Impact Investigation Team (HIIT) were contacted according to CHP and took over the investigation.

The driver was arrested and booked on multiple felony charges related to possession and transportation of cocaine.

The estimated street value of the seizure is $60,000.
