Kicker Chris Boswell hit a career-long 60-yard field goal to propel the Steelers a 34-32 win over the New York Jets, and now he is receiving his just due.
Boswell was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his game winning effort.
Boswell was two for two on field goals, a 56-yarder in the second quarter and the 60-yard field goal with 1:03 to play in the game.
"I can't say enough about Boz," said Coach Mike Tomlin of Boswell after the game. "Our kicker is a serial killer, and he's got a low pulse rate. He can't wait to deliver."
Boswell's consistency gives his teammates a sense that whenever he goes out there, he is going to deliver.
