MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A 19-year-old was charged with tampering with evidence following a shooting over the weekend outside a McDonald's in Hickory Hill that injured his cousin, records show.

Court documents allege that Carron McDougle went back inside the fast food restaurant and handed off two guns that he and his cousin had to their co-worker before police arrived.

The shooting happened Sunday afternoon at a McDonald's on Winchester Road near Ridgeway Road. McDougle told investigators that he was working when he got into an argument with a customer outside the restaurant.
