TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A local theater company is working to make performing arts education more accessible for children across the Big Bend.

Stage 11, a youth theater program founded in 2021, offers affordable workshops for kids, regardless of their financial background.

The founder, Robyn Smith Peters, said the program teaches kids confidence, social and communication skills that they can take with them beyond the workshops.

Currently, participants are wrapping up their final performances of Anastasia: The Musical at Theatre Tallahassee.
