ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Leaders on both sides of the aisle are reacting to the shooting death of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday at a college campus in Utah.
Kirk was no stranger in the Peach state. He campaigned for now-President Donald Trump last year, and his “You’re Being Brainwashed” tour stopped in Athens.
Now, leaders are condemning the political violence.

Gov. Brian Kemp took to social media to ask Georgian’s to pray for Kirk.
“Political violence is never the answer!” he said.
