The world of budget airlines has been rocked this year by financial troubles and service cuts at Spirit Airlines, and other low-cost companies are working to fill the space.

Three low-cost airlines have announced they will add a total of seven new flights from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport this fall and early in 2026.

The newly announced flights will take passengers to two major metropolitan areas and a gateway to the beaches of southwest Florida.
