PETERSBURGH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Petersburgh man was arrested on September 2 in an animal neglect investigation. Noah Mulhearn Mann, 27, faces two counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals with failure to provide proper sustenance.
Troopers responded to Mulhearn Mann's home on Varville Road for reports of suspected animal neglect and said they found two dogs housed in a shed with obvious signs of malnutrition and in need of medical care. Law enforcement seized the dogs and took them to the Capital District Veterinary Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Mulhearn Mann was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for Petersburgh Town Court on September 23. He was released from custody and the animals were placed in the care of the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
