The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of three people in connection with the shooting of Florida State University linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

Deputies made the arrests Wednesday morning, but names and charges haven’t been released, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

Officials scheduled a press conference for 4 p.m. at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement headquarters.

Pritchard was shot Sunday, Aug. 31, in Havana, a small town roughly 16 miles away from Tallahassee.

A family member said he was driving his aunt and her two-year-old home when someone randomly opened fire as Pritchard was turning into his aunt’s neighborhood.

He was the only person struck by gunfire.
