BOSTON (WWLP) - A man who worked for a truck-driving school was sentenced to prison for his involvement in the Massachusetts State Police commercial driver’s license (CDL) bribery scheme.

In a news release from the Department of Justice, in January 2024, 44-year-old Scott Camara of Rehoboth was charged in a 74-count indictment along with five others for giving out false passing scores to numerous CDL applicants in a years-long conspiracy.

Court documents alleged that Camara conspired with then-MSP Sergeant Gary Cederquist to give passing scores to four MSP troopers who had applied for Class A CDLs, but who did not actually take the required CDL skills test.
