“ Overcompensating ” has been renewed for Season 2 at Amazon Prime Video . Series creator Benito Skinner will return to star in, write, and executive produce the second season.

“I have been so overwhelmed by the insane response to the show, and feel so damn lucky to go back to Yates University with Amazon MGM Studios, A24 , Strong Baby, and this legendary cast for Season 2!! PLAY SUPER BASS :),” Skinner said.

Along with Skinner, the series regular cast includes Wally Baram, Mary Beth Barone, Adam DiMarco, and Rish Shah. Holmes, Corteon Moore, Owen Thiele and Nell Verlaque have recurring roles.
