FORT STEWART, Ga. (WSAV) — Soldiers from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team will return from a nine-month deployment and will be welcomed home Friday at Fort Stewart by the 3rd Infantry Division.

The soldiers were deployed to the European theater where they defended NATO's eastern flank alongside European allies.

The welcome ceremony will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12 at Cottrell Field on Fort Stewart.
