KINGSTON — Another portion of Princess Street is to undergo a major rebuild next year.

The main road through the Williamsville neighbourhood is to be closed for a full reconstruction between Division and Albert streets.

“This stretch of Princess Street is scheduled for reconstruction to support the city’s ongoing growth and to renew infrastructure,” Melanie Knowles, a project manager with engineering services at the city, said in a news release. “Once completed, it will help create a vibrant, active, and connected corridor through Williamsville.”

The project is to include separation of stormwater and sanitary sewers, replacement of water mains and installation of new hydro infrastructure.
