Vice President JD Vance is facing renewed scrutiny on social media after defending President Donald Trump — again.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee received a set of documents related to late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein on Monday, which included a lewd letter Trump allegedly sent to Epstein for his 50th birthday more than two decades ago. The letter in the 2003 leather-bound book was made public from a subpoena filed by the Republican-led committee to the convicted sex offender’s estate last month.
First reported on by The Wall Street Journal in July, the letter was now published by the outlet and shows a sexually suggestive outline of a naked woman.
Trump has repeatedly denied writing the letter or drawing the picture.
