BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ) - Fire crews extinguished a fire that destroyed a house in Bedford Wednesday morning, according to Bedford Fire.
The Bedford Fire Department, Moneta Volunteer Fire Department and Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the fire at 6:08 a.m. September 10.
Fire crews arrived to a home with the rear engulfed in “heavy” fire located at Cedar Cove St., according to The Bedford Fire Department.
Fire crews searched the home and found nobody inside; it took 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, said Bedford Fire.
There were no injuries to residents nor the crews fighting the flames.
