GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. — The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that it had arrested three major suspects in connection with the shooting of Florida State University football player Ethan Pritchard.
Officials said Pritchard was visiting family in Havana, Fla., on Aug. 31, when he received a gunshot wound to the head while inside a vehicle sitting outside an apartment complex.
The 6-foot-2, 224-pound freshman from Sanford remains in intensive care at a Tallahassee-area hospital.
He was listed as critical but stable the day after the shooting. Officials have not provided updates regarding his condition.
Pritchard’s alma mater, Seminole High School in Sanford, hosted a fundraiser last Friday at its football game, selling T-shirts with his number on them.
