KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF)— After a disappointing end to the Kansas City Chiefs season opener in Brazil, Travis and Jason Kelce sat down for the latest episode of their podcast, "New Heights," to talk about the 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and, of course, one of the most widely discussed plays of the game.

On Friday, Sept. 5, the Chiefs took to the field at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo to kick off their 2025 NFL season. However, three snaps in, the team lost one of its key players, receiver Xavier Worthy.

What started out as a seemingly routine play ended in Travis colliding with the 22-year-old receiver, hitting his right arm and forcing him to the ground. The team later announced Worthy would not be returning to the field due to a dislocated shoulder.
