DENVER (KDVR) — A snowboarder was rescued after falling, sliding and tumbling down a Skyscraper Glacier, just north of Rollins Pass.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said in a press release that a report came into the Boulder County Communications Center around 2:25 p.m. Monday for a person who had sustained serious injuries in the area of the Skyscraper Glacier.
The snowboarder, a 27-year-old male, had started a snowboard descent of the glacier when he had fallen, slid and tumbled around 100 feet down the snowfield, ultimately coming to a rest in a bergschrund. • Colorado agencies rescue snowboarder from skyscraper glacier just north of Rollins Pass.
