FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Among the lineup for Purdue Fort Wayne’s 30th Omnibus Speaker Series are a former presidential advisor, a veteran foreign affairs correspondent, a female National Basketball Association executive, and a podcaster with three million followers.
The series will begin on Oct. 7 with Republican Karl Rove, a campaign strategist, consultant, and lobbyist who served President George W. Bush as senior advisor and deputy chief of staff. He is currently working as a Wall Street Journal columnist and appears regularly on cable news programs.
Andrea Mitchell will follow Rove in the series on Nov. 18. Mitchell, winner of a Lifetime Achievement Emmy, has worked with NBC News since 1978 and began serving as chief foreign affairs correspondent in 1994.
