HOUSTON (KIAH) — A woman has been arrested after a domestic argument turned deadly at a Katy home on Tuesday night, authorities said.
Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies and EMS responded to an in-progress call at a home at the 6000 block of Diantha Street on Tuesday evening around 7 p.m. The woman called 911 and said that she had shot her husband during a physical altercation.
EMS attempted life-saving measures on the victim but was declared dead at the scene due to a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Detectives interviewed the wife, who said she shot her husband, later identified as 28-year-old Qualin Dorsey.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office will refer the case to a grand jury when the investigation is over to see if any charges will be filed.
