Detroit Pistons free agent guard Malik Beasley is not out of the water for allegations regarding gambling on NBA games and prop bets.

Despite no longer being considered a “target” in a federal investigation, the NBA confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday that the league is conducting its own investigation into those gambling allegations against Beasley while he was with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2023-24.

Beasley, 28, is “fully cooperating” with the NBA investigation, according to his attorney Steve Haney.

The federal investigation was initially reported on June 29 , being conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
