STARKE, Fla. — A teenager in Bradford County was arrested with a felony weapon charge after bringing a gun to a football game, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.
BCSO said that at around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, during a middle school football game at the Bradford High School football stadium, a Bradford Middle School administrator received a tip that a 13-year-old had been seen carrying a gun.
When the administrator confronted the teenager, BSCO said they identified a gun case inside his backpack.
BCSO also said that the teen pulled a BB gun from his waistband.
After a School Protection Deputy made contact with the teen's parents, BCSO said that the teen's mother told him not to carry the gun before leaving for work.
