Two in five van drivers are regularly subjected to abuse from other motorists , according to a recent poll, but they argue that they're being unfairly judged. The survey of 1,000 van-driving adults revealed that over the past year, they've been sworn at, received obscene gestures, and even faced threats of physical violence. ‌

A significant 79 per cent claim this hostility is because of negative public perceptions of van drivers. Nearly half say that the stereotype of them as bad and aggressive as well as cat callers is unfair. ‌
