Conservative US political Commentator Charlie Kirk has reportedly been shot in the neck at a Utah campus event, according to US media and unverified footage on social media.

US politicians from both major parties have spoken out following the attack on Kirk, with California Governor Gavin Newsom calling the shooting “disgusting, vile, and reprehensible.” “In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form,” Newsom continued. Both President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson have requested prayers for the conservative commentator.

Kirk’s condition is unknown.
