This fall, Republicans and Democrats will again face off to redraw the boundaries of our Congressional districts.

You’re right. The 2022 map expires after four years (instead of the usual 10 years) because it didn’t garner bipartisan support. Then the Ohio Supreme Court found the Republican map to be unconstitutionally gerrymandered.

Republicans currently hold 10 of Ohio’s 15 congressional districts. Democrats — who want to dominate seven seats — aim to block any map Republicans pass, attempting either a lawsuit or statewide referendum.
