A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Lanarkshire man Scott Boyd.
Sean McIntyre, 35, appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court today (Wednesday, September 10). He was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident on a street in Kirkmuirhill in August.
Police were called to the scene on Braeside Crescent in the early hours of Wednesday, August 27. Mr Boyd, 30, was found seriously injured and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
McIntyre, from West Lothian, was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. He made no plea to the charges.
McIntyre was remanded into custody and will appear again at the court within eight days, the Daily Record reports.
