An eyewitness to the Charlie Kirk shooting is speaking out about what allegedly happened in the moments before the gun was fired.

At this time, we don’t know much about the 31-year-old conservative political media personality’s condition. His rep did share, “Charlie Kirk has been shot at Utah Valley University. Condition unknown.”

A former Utah Representative, Republican Jason Chaffetz , was at Utah Valley University when it happened and was a witness. If you don’t know, Kirk is the founder of Turning Point USA and often goes to college campuses to debate students.

“People were there. And there were lots of them. You know, he came out, he was throwing hats, riling up the crowd,” he told CNN .
