KINSMAN — Township Fiscal Officer Marge Crupi informed trustees Monday of her plan to retire as trustees begin to search for a replacement.

Crupi, who has served since 2014, said she would be available to work with and train the selected fiscal officer to help that person become familiarized with the duties and responsibilities of the position.

“Kinsman is an awesome township. I have enjoyed working here,” Crupi said.

Trustee Chairman Jamin Banning said they will accept applicants through Oct. 15 and then schedule interviews. Trustee Greg Leonhard said they would like to have someone selected in November so they can begin learning the job.

Crupi said fiscal officer terms begin in April, but the individuals are elected in the previous November general election.
