HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The Henderson County Fiscal Court issued a burn ban in Henderson County on September 10.

According to the court, the order is effective immediately and will last until further notice. This applies to the cities of Henderson, Robards and Corydon.

All burning is prohibited exept for the following: • Personal food preparation using outdoor gas, carcoal grills or other self-contained cooking platforms. • Food preparation for community events such as Burgoo or BBQ, at which a city or volunteer fire department provides on-site fire protection.
