A Scots teen was allegedly sexually assaulted as cops launch a probe to establish the full circumstances. ‌

The terrifying attack reportedly took place when a 16-year-old female was sexually assaulted in Newlands, Glasgow on Saturday, 6 September. ‌

Around 12.30am, the female was "sexually assaulted" by a man in Thornliebank Road. ‌

She did not require medical attention. She made her way to Thornliebank Avenue then into Auldhouse Park where she spoke to a man and woman who asked if she needed any help. Police were contacted a short time later.

Detectives are probing the incident and appealing for the assistance of the public to track down eyewitnesses. Article continues below
