Jim Goodwin insists the good times at Tannadice can reach even higher heights in the future after extending his contract at Dundee United. ‌

The Irishman had a year left on his remaining deal but has now penned a 12-month rolling contract with the Tangerines having been linked with several clubs south of the border during the course of the summer. ‌

Goodwin delivered a return to European football in Tayside last season with a fourth place finish in the Premiership and watched his team put in a valiant display against Rapid Vienna in qualifying for the Conference League before they ultimately bowed out on penalties. ‌
