The School Town of Munster is proposing a budget for next year that is over $78 million.

The proposed spending plan, presented during the school board's work session last week, is $1.66 million more than the 2025 certified budget for the district.

It allocates $31.3 million to the education fund, used to pay teacher salaries and curricular materials; $13.4 million to the operations fund, which covers building maintenance costs, utilities and salaries for non-teaching positions.
