NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — A board of education meeting was cut short on Tuesday over a debate related to school bus concerns in Norwich.

The discussion was about a busing survey for parents, concerning door-to-door stops, bus rate hikes and an update to the "First View" app, which shows parents where buses are in their routes.

"We're all on the same page, we're all on the same page: the safety and concern," Vice Chair John Iovino said during the meeting. "That's why each one is taken, that's why each one is looked at as an individual situation and deemed by the team to make a decision on that."

The survey went out to parents on Tuesday.

The board will hold another meeting on Thursday, Sept. 18, to discuss transportation efficiency.
