Charlie Kirk, the right-wing commentator, has died after he was shot at Utah Valley University in Orem on Wednesday, while the suspect remains at large.

Kirk was scheduled to appear at Montana State University on Oct. 7.

President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk's death on social media, posting that "the Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead."

Kirk leaves behind a wife and two children.

Utah news outlets reported that bystanders saw Kirk stuck near the neck during a Q&A session at Utah Valley as part of his “American Comeback Tour.”

Videos circulating on X appeared to show Kirk being hit and collapsing as the crowd scattered. The New York Times reported that the alleged shooter was 200 yards away on a nearby building.
