WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - Trumbull County Commissioners passed a resolution Wednesday supporting the Western Reserve Land Conservancy's efforts to secure funding to purchase Coalburg Lake and its dam in Hubbard.

Last month, the land conservancy talked about its plans to apply for a Clean Ohio grant to buy the lake from its current owner.

It would then donate 15 acres around and including the dam to the Community Foundation of Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania.

The two organizations would then partner to fundraise to revitalize the dam.
