YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Youngstown city leaders held a ribbon-cutting Wednesday to celebrate the new and improved equipment at Lynn Park.
The renovated park on Lynn Avenue includes new slides, swings and even a pickleball court.
Students took a field trip to see the new bells and whistles at the park. Happy to see students thrilled about the new park, director of Parks and Recreation Clemate Franklin says this is just one of many projects to revitalize parks in Youngstown.
"We have a lot of future projects coming," said Clemate Franklin, director of Youngstown Parks and Recreation. "We have our baseball field over at Pemberton. We have our golf course simulator building. That's up already. We should be finished with that this year -- by the end of the year."
