Sunrise silence shattered by deadly shooting in MD suburb

Prince George’s County, MD – A man was found shot to death at a suburban Maryland intersection early Wednesday, setting off a homicide investigation as detectives search for whoever pulled the trigger.

Just after 8 a.m., police were called to the area of Old Colony Drive and Grandhaven Avenue, where officers arrived to find an unresponsive man lying on the street. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name has not been released, and there is no word yet on what may have led to the fatal shooting.
