DC robbery escalates into felony case as trio vanishes into the night

Washington, DC – A robbery in Northeast D.C. early Wednesday morning has been reclassified as a felony case involving threats and assault, prompting an urgent manhunt for three suspects still at large.

At approximately 1 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department’s 6th District responded to the 3500 block of Hayes Street NE, where the initial report of a robbery has now been updated to include charges of Felony Threats and Simple Assault.

The primary suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male with a light complexion, last seen wearing dark grey jeans. He was accompanied by two Black females, though further details about their appearance remain undisclosed.
