The past month and change have been an ebb and flow for Broderick Jones.
For the first week or so of training camp, he struggled mightily, from full team periods to one-on-one drills to a balky hamstring that caused him to miss some practice time. But in the preseason, Jones seemed to right himself to some degree, more good than bad entering Week 1.
Then the Jets sacked Aaron Rodgers four times Sunday at MetLife Stadium, with Jones looking like the weak link on more than one occasion. He actually was dinged with three sacks allowed by Pro Football Focus.
“I can’t put that on tape,” Jones said Wednesday after practice. “I know that. Everybody knows that.”
Jones has always been pretty good about facing the music from reporters in the locker room after a rough game. He admitted “everythin
