Questions cost of program, reliability of vehicles

Mayoral candidate Jeff Davison says that if elected this October, he will call an end for Calgary’s electric transit bus program.

In an announcement on Tuesday, Davison said Calgarians deserve reliable, affordable, and sustainable transit, over billion-dollar experiments that leave buses sidelined with taxpayers footing the bill.

“Calgarians can’t afford to gamble on unreliable, overpriced electric buses,” said Davison. “It’s time to put common sense back in the driver’s seat.
