JAMESTOWN — The New Rockford-Sheyenne-Maddock football team remains at the top of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association’s Class B 9-man football poll after week three.
The Rockets received 11 first-place votes after defeating Larimore 66-6 on Friday, Sept. 5. The Rockets come in just ahead of LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, which received six first-place votes after they beat Wyndmere/Lidgerwood 64-6 on Friday. This week’s top three is rounded out by Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, which improved their record to 3-0 with a 73-0 win over Beach on Friday.
Despite being 3-0, the South Border Mustangs just missed out on the polls this week while receiving votes.
