From a night to forget to a season to remember: CeeDee is locked in
CeeDee Lamb’s season didn’t begin the way a WR1 dreams it will. In the Cowboys’ tough 24–20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday night, Dallas’ star wideout posted 110 yards on seven catches — but also dropped four passes, each one heavier than the last.
One was a potential touchdown. Another stalled a critical drive in the fourth quarter. Together, they swung momentum in a rivalry game that the Cowboys had every chance to win.
Lamb didn’t duck the media. He faced them head on. “Man, that was terrible,” Lamb said. “I can’t point any fingers at anybody else. I take full accountability and everything that comes with that. As a player, I pray for moments like that… it stings a little bit. B
