Hartselle Police confirmed Wednesday they have obtained a murder warrant for a man who led Priceville police on a chase and then crashed into a vehicle at an intersection, killing a 17-year-old and injuring several others.
The suspect, Archie Hale, is still in the hospital recovering from the crash, but Hartselle Police say they plan to serve the warrant once he is released.
Hale will not have bond when he is booked into jail. Police say Hale faces multiple charges in addition to murder including attempting to elude, possession with intent, DUI, reckless endangerment, and multiple moving violations.
The pursuit started Saturday night after Hale fled from police, who were attempting to stop him for suspicion of driving under the influence.
