The Hartselle community came together to remember 17-year-old Tristan Hollis, whose life was cut short after he was struck and killed during a police chase over the weekend.

A visitation for Hollis was held at Peck Funeral Home, where rows of cars filled the parking lot as friends, classmates, and loved ones arrived to pay their respects. Hollis was a senior at Hartselle High School and, according to his obituary, had recently started working a co-op job at Sonoco, loved playing video games, going to the gym, and had just received his first car to celebrate his 17th birthday last month.

Just down the road from the funeral home, Scooters Coffee on Highway 31 joined the community effort to support the Hollis family, pledging to donate 25% of Wednesday's sales directly to them. Harrison Dia
